The MIB Is Dead
Love your show.
I sent you guys a message after episode one. I’m not sure if you got it or not. This is basically a rehash of what I said then with the addition of the knowledge that we have discovered in episode four.
My theory is it at the end of season one when Teddy shot the man in black, it was for real.
Ford then took the man in black’s course and replaced it with a new version of him.
The evidence for this is the way the man in black reacted when Teddy shot him. The only time we see the man in black get knocked off his feet by a bullet fired from a host are the very first time it happened and the time when Teddy shot him at the end of season one.
He not only goes down but he stayed down. He even lost consciousness at the very least.
“It begins where you ended. It ends where you began.”
“If you were still looking to the future, you’re looking in the wrong direction.”
The man in black does not know he has been replaced just as we saw in this episode with Delos.
Ford wants the man in black to be the link between humanity in the new race he created. He is the only one like the hosts who knows death.
