A theory about the Night King:
It is clear that both the Three Eyed Raven and the Night King have a strong connection to the children of the forest. Is it possible that the Three Eyed Raven and the Night King are united in life and death. If so, either the Night King is aware of this and if his ultimate aim is to kill Bran then this must mean that he wants to end as well – which could make sense if he cannot die and has lived for thousands of years. Or the Night King is unaware of this and perhaps could sacrifice himself to defeat the Night King – would require some sort of vision for Bran to become aware of this.
