Theon’s Scene Was More Important Than You Think

Hi guys!
My names Meghan and I live in the beautiful Bay Area.
This is my first time writing in and I’m a huge fan of the podcast.

I’m not sure if you guys really think Theon’s kill scene wasn’t really important or if you just didn’t really realize who he killed. He killed his uncle. The death of Euron was way important in the destruction of Cersi.

In the scene where she is telling Jamie how stupid he is and how could he actually think she is going to fight in the north she says something like do you really think Euron was running away leaving me? He’s off to the gold company to buy troops. The death of Euron was super important because now Cersi is fucked on all sides. She is not getting her kill for hire troops like she thinks she is, Jamie has left her (when he is actually the smartest Lannister now) and winter is finally at kings landing.

Like I said I’m not sure if you missed this importance or you think it’s of little significance but I thought that it was super important for Theon to Euron. Now that Cersi has lost Euron I couldn’t give two shits if they show Theon in the last 6 episodes.

Thanks!
Meghan
