In ‘Trace Decay,’ Theodore Is Just Teddy

Greetings Hosts (see what I did there…),

I’m a huge fan of West World and have been a fan of the podcast since episode 1 aired. Not only have you discussed just about every theory imaginable, but you appreciate both the fun and artistic elements of the show. I’m not usually one to take part in listener mail, but I had to get something off my chest. The latest instacast about s1e9 really irked me. Roger’s gloating as well as Gene and Big D’s obvious disdain of it made for a tension-filled and uncomfortable installment, rather than an immediate reaction to the season’s most wild episode yet. I know you guys are friends in real life and friends tend to bicker more than colleagues but it doesn’t play well on radio. Apologies for the negative email but I wanted to leave my two cents and am interested to hear in the telegraph if other listeners felt the same way. Anyway, when you focus on the show, you guys do it better than anyone, keep up the good work. Oh, one more thing. Going back to “Trace Decay” When she said “Theodore” at the end there was no way whatsoever she was talking to MIB. I’m all for tin foil hat theories, but you might as well wear a full on tin foil tuxedo with that one.
