Trompe L’Oeil Pronunciation

Love your Westworld podcast, guys! Not much to say about Westworld that hasn’t been said already. But, since I am French (from Quebec), I want to help you to pronounce “Trompe L’Oeil” the right way. How you pronounced it in the last podcast, it sounds more like “trompe-l’oie” which means… nothing, though “oie” means “goose”. 🙂

Don’t worry, since I’m listening many Westworld podcasts, I heard worse than that this week… 🙂

The best pronunciation I found on the Internet was on pronouncekiwi. Look for the “French (France) Pronunciation” that got the most votes. Don’t listen to the others, they are wrong! You can also check that 14 seconds video on YouTube.

Well, my French pronunciation is really good, but my written English is not great, so I will stop here. – Claire
