Uwade’s Accent

Hi everyone,

I’m writing just to see if anyone else has noticed/found it odd that Uwade keeps going in and out of a British accent. In the first episode, I thought maybe she was going to turn into Maeve or, upon this episode, end up being the “new” Maeve in the new phase of the park, but she isn’t thus far. Considering little is done by accident on this show, might this be a clue to something about Caleb or his wife?

Best,
Wendi

PS- I included this old email about flies that seems *particularly* relevant these days!

Sending another quick thing I noticed that others likely did too, but at the beginning of the episode, as we see William as the Man in Black put the gun to his head, there is a loud buzz of flies, much as we have heard with Teddy. I am not sure what this means yet, but it doesn’t seem to be a coincidence. Perhaps this is due to the physical manifestation of the “virus” or “stain” to which some characters refer, or it may be due to the deterioration of hosts’ bodies now that there is no staff left to maintain them. Flies also appeared in season one (regarding Dolores and Teddy, most notably) and seemed to be of some significance, but it was never fully established. What other characters have been surrounded by flies (in terms of noise, landing on them, etc), and might that be a clue?

Thanks for your consideration and keep up the great work!
Best,
Wendi
