Watchmen: Dale Petey Confirmed As Lubeman

?Kinda surprised no one caught this but in Agent Petey’s latest memo, Fogdancing, he refers to his own entry in Nothing Ever Ends, the periodical that annually publishes critiques and summaries of Max Shea’s infamous novel, as his “origin story”.

Reading that very entry in the 2nd piece of the latest Peteypedia, a young, self-admitted know-it-all Dale Petey describes the hero of Fogdancing thus: “See him now in your mind’s eye, moving through boiling clouds of Sunset Haze, wearing his gas mask and skin-tight silver suit shimmering with SPF-666, looking slick and doing what must be done, in secret, to keep you and me and all of us free.”

How was this never mentioned on the podcast? Or was it and I missed it?
