Westworld E4 – Musical Easter Egg

I noticed something in the music from this episode that I thought was pretty cool. It was in the scene right before Christina drops her lipstick that Teddy picks up (around 24min mark).

The music that plays is a cover of a Frank Ocean song called “Pink + White”. (I’m a big Frank Ocean fan) and I immediately picked up on this piano version of the song being played. I found an article that explains more and has an interview from Ramin Djawadi (Westward composer) about it. This song in particular is about past relationships and I thought Djawadi made an awesome choice by using it in this scene right before we see “Teddy and Dolores” meet again.
