Hey,
I just finished watching the fourth episode about the sphinx. I think the question of what ghost nation is doing might have been answered in this episode. We learned that Ford was aware of the immortality attempts that the MIB was making. And if Ford is the master manipulator we’ve been led to believe, wouldn’t he have worked on perfecting the process outside of William’s knowledge? My theory is that Ford learned of a way to stabilize the artificial mind and put them into ghost nation hosts. The ghost nation are literally called “ghosts” and we learned last season that they worship the cleanup technicians that immortalize them. That would explain why ghost nation kills hosts with abandon, but seem to protect guests. This also means there are several different types of consciousness occurring within the park. There are the hosts, artificial consciousness arising from the machine. The guests, conscious humans living out their fantasies without repercussions. And the ghost nation, human consciousness struggling to come to terms with a new type of reality. What do you think? After seeing daddy Delos this episode, will this give us a similar emotional conflict we felt last season at the hosts suffering?
Thanks for the great show!
Adam
