Why Leave Maeve Behind?

Hale was not too concerned when William got blown up and she told Caleb that William could be rebuilt. So maybe his body was retrieved. Hale said Maeve, on the other hand, “is something special.” I’m surprised Maeve was still buried there for Bernard to find and that Hale hadn’t accessed Maeve’s powers. I guess we’ll see, I hope we do.

There seems to be some kind of either fidelity-testing or narrative-building going on with Christina, but the writers are keeping that reveal close to the vest. Episode 4 gives up a lot but not enough to be sure what happens next.
