Back to the Future Part II Quote: “Time traveling is just too dangerous.” – Dr. Emmett Brown

Most sequels give us more of the same. “Back to The Future Part II” changed the game by giving us a world we’d never seen: hoverboards, Pac-Fax, VistaGlide, and filming two sequels back-to-back with cross-promotion embedded in the movie.

But bigger isn’t always better. Losing “Back to the Future” stars Crispin Glover and Claudia Wells made some scenes awkward and (with the help of prosthetics) borderline creepy. And why does every 40-year-old in this movie sound like she’s 70?

The time travel gets a little sloppy, but we learn a lot about the Shat The Movies crew when it comes to bending the laws of physics. Big D fears losing his daughter to the Butterfly Effect. Roger Roeper believes he’d become Batman, and Kerri Gross just needs some help with her taxes and investments.

Also in this episode:

  • The dark alternate ending where Lorraine kills Biff
  • Roger drools over “Rick and Morty”
  • A soundtrack surprise
  • the Great Hoverboard Hoax
  • Thomas F. Wilson is the real hero of the franchise
  • Doc Brown is a massive hypocrite
  • How the DeLorean was refurbished after years of theft
  • The Shat The Movies crew give their 18-year-old selves life advice.

So strap on your eyebrows, Shat fans, for this early morning recording of “Back to The Future Part II!”

Chicken was never used in part 1 all! That lunch scene never mentioned at all your thinking of part 2 with griff

    • CJ says:

Roger looked up a video on YouTube, but he didn’t read the description. It was a fan edit of the scene from BTTF1 with a line about being a chicken edited into it.

  2. BttFan says:

the time logic of BttF isn’t like Bill & Ted, so Doc couldn’t have done what you proposed with warning about more gas.

    • Dick Ebert says:

Doc was hit by lightning and sent back to the old west, but the time circuits were damaged, so he then hides the Delorean for Marty in 1955. Then Marty and Doc fix it in 1955, and return back to the 1885.. at this point there are 2 Delorean present, and Docs version has gas.

      • BttFan says:

that is true, at one point in time there were at least 3 delorans, but disrupting one, like taking parts and/or gas for another could have caused a time paradox.

  3. BttFan says:

we don’t have to worry about a remake for the trilogy, not until the Bobs are dead. The Bobs have stated in interviews that there’s a clause in their contracts for this film that Universal can’t remake it until both are dead and gone.
