Devastated and unable to move on, Peter decides to take a trip to Hawaii to escape his heartbreak and find solace.

However, Peter’s plans for relaxation take an awkward turn when he discovers that Sarah is also at the same resort with her new boyfriend, Aldous Snow (Russell Brand), a flamboyant and egotistical rock star. Forced to confront his lingering feelings for Sarah, Peter navigates a series of hilariously uncomfortable encounters while trying to keep his composure.

Amid the chaos, Peter finds unexpected comfort in Rachel Jansen (Mila Kunis), a witty and compassionate hotel concierge who helps him rediscover his self-worth.
