Did Jon See Arya?!

Hey Guys,

So I came across an article that came to Jons defense. Many folks believe that Jon is/was utterly useless during the battle. But one viewer believes that Jon actually HELPED Arya get into the Gods Wood. We all see Jon, beaten and defeated, give his one last ditch effort… to randomly shout at the dragon. But this viewer believes that when Viserion is blocking the Gods Wood and Jon is hiding behind the wall in the yard, he spots Arya. He then works up his courage to distract the dragon and shouts “GOOOOOOO GOOO GO!!” giving Arya the opportunity to slip past the dragon and ten seconds later, we see the hair swoosh and the Night King defeated. I went back to check it out, and I think it’s a safe assumption. Check it out, and let us know what you think!

Also, upon my first viewing of seeing Arya going for the kill, my reaction was as following “YAAASSS” *GASP* “YASSSS… wait what” Followed by the thought (as said by Jamie Lannister) “I thought killing a King would be harder.” But then I thought about her whole story. Everything she’s been through, everything she’s been taught, the smirk on Jaqen H’ghars face when she tells him “I’m Arya Stark and I’m going home”, everything has lead her to this moment. I went back to watch the rewatch the episode and I realized how perfectly planned this was. Arya comes in screaming (which through me for a minute because Arya is as quiet as a shadow. Totally uncharacteristic of her) and that’s when I realized. She’s holding the BLADE when she comes at him. She could have easily stabbed him in the back of the skull undetected but she wanted him to turn so she could stab him directly in the heart. Beautifully done. Arya is the GOAT. #NoonecankilltheNightKing Cassie

Fantastic observation on the blade. It adds the dimension of Arya’s sacrifice. She was willing to die to have the Night King turn to face her, knowing that was the key to exposing his vulnerable spot. She used the lessons from Brienne and The Hound to understand tiny stabby things need to go through gaps in armor.
