Hello,

I think Charlotte hale has Maeves control unit inside. Dolores knows Maeve is equal to her in intelligence and capability. And this theory would include some time line fuckery – where… what if Episode 2 with maeves escape from the war world simulation was further along in this seasons narrative than what we see in episode 1 and 3 with Dolores/Charlotte/Caleb.

And what if serac captures maeves control unit from charlottes body after discovering she, as his Delos mole is actually a Westworld host- then places her into the simulation to get information – and that’s could explain why serac thought Maeve was the mastermind planning the revolution because she is the host that he caught out in the real world.

This would make maeves control unit one of the five Dolores escaped the park with, and streamline the explanation of how serac would have obtained one of the host control units from the park.

It’s also unlikely Charlotte would have a minor characters control unit and Maeve fits as being a major character with bending the narrative timeline in this theory.

Side note – Teddy Flood is not one of the control units on the table. His control unit was uploaded to the valley beyond and is empty like all the other dead hosts They found in the sea in season 2. Plus Hollywood reporter interview with Lisa joy immediately after the season 2 finale said the valley beyond was permanent. Unless she lied, or they changed their mind in writing season 3 later on

Tin foil on. Why do we think id only a host? Why we think Jscob is dead? Why not freeze him like the man in black? So the simulation we see is just Hale trying to bresk Jacob. In an attempt to find our how Jacob can resist the flies.
