Family
Hey Guys,
Just wanted to point out something that I didn’t hear you or any other podcasts bring out about the Grace is MiB’s daughter theory.
It fits the overall narrative that we’re being told this season about family. The opening changed from 2 hosts having sex to a woman/mother holding a child, Maeve is trying to reconnect with her daughter, Delores is still connected to her father. I like the idea that we would see MiB’s (human) daughter working for a competing firm to spite her father as a contrast to the love we see keeping (robot) families together. Also showing that it is our experiences with another being that creates/kills love, not the code or blood ties we are given.

I like that question.
Yes, I do think it is the show I’d like to see because I think it fits with what I love about Westworld. I like that Joy and Nolan are tackling questions of human nature (what is humanity? can humanity be created “artificially”?). It is definitely my favorite aspect of entertainment – going deeper than a plot and finding empathy for others’ experiences.
Real talk: Is that the show you’d rather see?
In other words, would that storyline improve “Westworld” or make you less likely to watch?
