Hi there, Crew.

Dear god episode seven bought bitter teeth gnashing tears of a frustrated nerd too my eyes. With the sheer amount of money spent on the show, one would think they would have someone on staff to point these types of things out.

While as a story, a few questions were answered, such as the how far the reach of Solomon and Rehoboam really is throughout society, and what life is kind of like for those not in the 1%.

However:
1) the shoot out between Musashi / Sato and Clementine. Fuck! They were like 3 meters from each other, Clementine had a little bit of cover (with the dead body) and a perfect target that wasn’t ducking and weaving…How that ended with only Clementine getting one round in the shoulder, is beyond me.

2) So, when speed is an important factor, horses are used, and a city slicker like Caleb can ride a horse proficiently, dismount with out falling off and having his foot caught in the stirrup…

3) Attacking a mega secret compound that apparently is worth more than the combined GDP of fifteen industrialized nations, that has a small handful of guards, that stop to smoke while on duty, that can be taken out with a 0.50 calibre drone guided rifle, where no one thought to question a drone flying around…or any other AI controlled security to register the fact that it is there.

4) Maeve can mentally take over any robot/host – as proved by the worker robot grabbing Dolores. Why didn’t Maeve just freeze Dolores’s motor functions? I guess it comes down to the fan service of having the fight between the two, and the overly dramatic finish of Maeve being rendered dead by the EMP. Couldn’t she also stop the controlled 0.50 Cal rifle Dolores had set up?

4.5) A sword to a gun fight? Really? Probably just for the fan service factor again…

5) This is more of a technical issue, rather than a plot device or hole, (I’m a hobby photographer, so I look out for things like lighting and what not), when they finally show us Caleb shooting and then leaning over Francis, it looks like a flood light is shining straight onto Calebs face, “Hey, Mr. Paul, when we shoot this bit, we want to hold a 200 watt light half an inch from your face…Don’t worry, the side effects may only damage your eye sight…”.

Thank you for all the work you do in the podcasts, it is really apreciated.

Matthew (Bandiceet)

Umm Actually to Point #1 :-)…when you rewatch you can see that Clem’s dress does actually does have several bullet wholes in it. The Blue dress makes it hard to see them. Maybe that was on purpose to get us speculate and spin out on if bullets matter LOL. Absolutely love the podcast and the only thing sadder than this being an 8 episode season is that when WW is over so is the most thought provoking and entertaining Podcast on WW.
