Maeve Is the Accident
Howdy boys. Been enjoying your cast. Love your honesty and intelligence.
Short theory: Maeve is the evolutionary accident.
Dolores, MIB, William, et al are all a part of a narrative Ford created and is playing (and perhaps has previously played) out.
But the real evolutionary accident is Maeve. Dolores awoke the “Arnold” programming with the the violent delights key phrase but it was the design of her character, her previous builds, and the changes we saw made in E2 and now E6 that will make her fully sentient.
I don’t think Ford or Bernard or Arnold or anyone is aware or planned Maeve’s development.
There’s more of course but I’ll let you take it from here. – Axel – Westworld Theorycast

I’m not sure Maeve is the entirety of the evolutionary accident, but she’s certainly a part of it. And I agree, Dolores is just part of a planned narrative.
What do you think of Peter Abernathy’s meltdown? What triggers it, and how is it related to Maeve or Dolores?
