Maeve?

Hi Gang,

Lance here from the UK, just wondering about your thoughts on Mauve’s character arc. Personally I have become somewhat bored and disillusioned with her character and motivations, I don’t feel like she has progressed since season 1. Her only motivations are to be with her daughter but what does this look like when she “gets” her? Will she print her a body and live with her in the real world will she live with her in a simulation etc. What does Mauve actually want to do? Delores on the other hand is a much more complex character with multiple motivations and goals. Delores also has the ability to change her motivations from the experiences she’s had as we have seen she is now seemingly hell bent on freeing humanity from enslavement to “Rohobo” where previously we believed she wanted to kill all humans or enslave them herself.

I feel like Delores is trying a big picture plan for all humanity and hosts while all mauve wants is selfish and single minded motivations to be with her daughter and at this point it is just boring. All in all I don’t want to babble on much longer but just wanted to get you guys perspective on Mauve’s character arc.
