Maya Bugs Me

Hello Shat Crew,
Although I love when all 3 of you are able to do a podcast, I’m glad you’re able to tag each other out and still keep the podcast going when needed. With all the call backs to previous seasons and life in the park, I’ve been thinking about the “virus” that took out Peter Abernathy and the park techs fear of contagion. Now that Christina is delving into her Peter mystery in NJ, she has come back and painted a tower on her canvas. Maya is having nightmares about flies at a family picnic, although she doesn’t recognize a drawing of a structure she has probable seen everyday she has lived in NY. Like Bernard and the door. (duh,duh,duh,duhhhh) It also isn’t the first time Maya has mentioned a mirroring of Christina’s feelings. The morning after Peter jumped, Maya told Christina she also didn’t feel well and suggested Christina take the day off as she was going to do. Which is the day Christina drove to NJ to the mental facility. Might Peter have been starting to break away and become an outlier. He said he had tracked Christina down after realizing she was writing his life. This is probable not something people are supposed to be aware of.

Maya bothers me. Every night she’s trying to fix up Christina on blind dates. Meanwhile we’ve never seen Maya with anyone, have we? They’re not doing double dates. Maya isn’t showing up with a handsome guy and his socially awkward cousin Ralph. Christina isn’t her wing man. Why can’t Christina have a nice quiet night sipping wine and watching Netflix or playing the ‘games’ she writes for or looking for a new apartment with a less meddlesome roommate? We now know ‘when’ Bernard and Stubbs are, but I don’t know if this helps with ‘when’ Christina is. If it is actually Teddy and not a Charloris construct, then hosts from the sublime are able to come back to here, where ever here is. Teddy might want to come back to try and find his one true love, but I doubt many others would after spending thousands of years building their perfect worlds. And would Teddy be happy or angry with what Charloris has done with the place.

So many questions.
