Qyburn’s Turn

Hey guys,

Eric from Florida here, long time listener.
I think it might just be me, because I haven’t heard anyone say a word about it yet, but didn’t Qyburn seem off a bit in episode 1? That look he gives Cersei after the news about the wall, then surprising Bron with a couple trunks of gold and an assassination request. I think Qyburn might be making a move, turning on Cersei in response to her absolute apathy about the fate of humanity, or her hubris in thinking she’ll survive the coming war. Qyburn hires Bron, of all people, because he knows Bron will take the gold and tell Jamie and Tyrion all about it. Perhaps Qyburn believes that her brothers are the only ones who can possibly take her down, thereby providing the impetus for that famous witch’s prophecy about her dying at the hand of a little brother. Maybe I’m reading too much into a simple look, but something about Cersei hiring Bron to kill her brothers just rings false.
