To Quit, Is to Hume

Shat Philosophers,

I know it was sad to have the Philosophy course run aground during the instacast. However, my brain instantly wanted to tell you that you all should have known better the moment you all called your philosophical meanderings, “brain boners.” I mean, really? What good has a boner ever done anyone? Or better yet, just think about all the dark alleys and wretched situations a boner has lead all of humanity through? Countless, right? So, let’s not feel sorry for ourselves that, once again, one fantastic boner has us rethinking all of our live’s decisions.

After all, David Hume once said that you can’t live your life as a philosopher…

Which gets me thinking again of my old epistemology class, and the fact that David Hume said you can’t know something is going to happen based off previous experiences. Which only further reminds me that I HATED reading David Hume. Which makes me hate the idea of abandoning tinfoil philosophy!

With that said, don’t give up! Prove Hume wrong and live everyday as a philosopher! Grab that brain boner as hard as you can and don’t let it go! Once again Big D Leads The Way (BDLTW) in showing us to never submit to a brain boner. See this through to the end! Never give up on your dreams! Maeve is in the simulated reality!
