Hey Guys,

Dany gives the Iron Islands back, S6E9
Tyrion- “What if everyone starts demanding their independence?” Dany- “She’s (Yara) not demanding, shes asking, the others are free to ask as well”

Everyone seems to think that Jon HAD to give up his crown in order for Dany to join him. Yet this is not true. Granted she asked him to bend the knee a thousand times, at the point in which he does, she had already pledged herself to him. S7E6
Dany- “The Dragons are my children. They’re the only children I’ll ever have, do you understand? We are going to destroy the Night King and his army. We’ll do it together, you have my word” When Jon finally bends the knee, she genuinely seems a little surprised and she even asks, “what about those that pledged allegiance to you?”

Dany has her vices, that true. But honestly, who the fuck doesn’t? However, she has shown time and time again that she listens to her advisors, that she can be reasoned with, that she does care about her people and those that follow her. Once you get past her internal demons, and get to her core of who she is, she’s a good person. Everyone wants to jump on the Mad Queen train, but ask yourself, what would you do? What would you do if multiple peoples following you, were taken out in one fell swoop? What would you do if your two closest friends died in front of you? What would you do if both your children were murdered right in front of your eyes? I can probably tell you, that if someone murdered my son, I would go into a blind rage and try to kill the son of bitch. Cut her some slack, Dany is supposed to be a real person. And a real person has real emotions and she’s doing her best to not let it get the best of her.
