1) Mr Woodchopper destroyed his own head so they couldn’t find the abberant code inside.

1a) I feel this continues to build support for my theory that the programming the AIs present to the world (both to the guests and to Delos) is a fraud. They’re not fully sentient yet but there’s a lot more going on there behind the scenes, and they are slowly getting smarter. The opening credits support this as well, IMO – the code that the player piano is being fed is not the same as the song it is playing.

2) The way they just throw various bits of code together into the AIs is horrifying to me as a software architect . Voice of God plus access to old memories (reveries), plus the possibility of infection, plus suffering overriding emotional code, plus a WIFI signal (whatever controls them from the iPad) – this is a disaster waiting to happen in so many different ways. It’s a wonder they function at all. – John
