Westworld – Modern Day Multiplicity

I was just listening to your deep dive of Westworld Season 3 – Episode 4, and was deeply entrenched in the segment discussing the multiple Dolores’ and I think I might have uncovered a key influence in the creation of this story line.
I think it’s blatantly obvious that the multiple Dolores piece is a pure derivative of the hit 1996 film, “Multiplicity” staring Michael Keaton (the best Batman by the way, don’t @ me). Here is the synopsis of the movie, per Wikipedia, “Multiplicity is a 1996 American science fiction
Now, I don’t know about you all…but I think the multiple Dolores’ will start out as a helpful idea that seems to be serving Prime Dolores (fantastic naming on your part Big D) at the onset. But, according to the lessons learned from “Multiplicity”, I believe these clones will ultimately end up finding their own way through this new maze and become just as woke as Prime Dolores, whom in turn may come to abandon her main goal in order to set out on their own.
I appreciate all the work you all put into the pod and always look forward to your opinions and enlightening insight. I have a background in Psychology and, as you can imagine, this show has fascinated me since it began. I’m also working on teasing out some other themes of this season, such as the duality of man in regards to Dolores’ recruitment of Caleb and the MIB battle with paranoid-schizophrenia and how that’s going to shape his character moving forward. I’m not quite ready to put those out just yet, but they are coming.
Thanks again and keep on keeping on,
Daniel
