Yep, Bernard Is Arnold

Hi guys, I just finished watching episode six and I must say, I’m pretty convinced Bernard is a recreation of Arnold. It’s not the most watertight of theories but there’s some good evidence now. First and foremost in this episode we see that the man in the old photograph with young Ford is actually Ford’s father, not Arnold. The man in the photograph is the same actor playing Ford’s host father in the cabin in woods. Ford is misdirecting Bernard to hide Arnold’s physical appearance from him. Suspicious no? We also know that Bernard and Arnold have similar backstories marked by personal tragedy and Ford worries Bernard will “make Arnold’s mistake.”

This might imply that some scenes we see with Bernard and Dolores are actually of Arnold in the past right?

HERES THE BEST PART
I went back to episode 3, the Stray, to watch one of these scenes, the one with Alice in Wonderland, and guess what I heard????? When Bernard brings Dolores back online, you hear beeping and machine whirring!!! This must be an older version of Dolores, a mostly machine version, hence the mechanical sounds. Assuming the hosts are mostly flesh and bone now, this is great evidence that this conversation between Bernard and Dolores is happening in the past, and since Bernard doesn’t seem to have aged since then, I’m guessing it’s because in those past scenes we’re actually seeing Arnold.

Finally the last piece of pseudo evidence. We know Arnold built Dolores, Ford explained as much. In the show trailer, we see a pair of hands putting Dolores’ face on a mechanical robot skeleton. The hands are Bernard’s complexion…could be Arnold’s hands? Sure, it may have been the hands of one of the techs from the early days…but I bet Arnold would have done the honors.
