Hey guys,

Third week in a row of writing in. Again I cannot compliment you enough on your break down of the show. The podcast is amazing and your insight, theories, and open platform are perfect for the show! Thank you for all you do!

After watching the episode “Genre” for the third time I can not shake the feeling that it is a telling the same exact story in a time loop. Think Matrix meets Inception.

In the first season you are introduced to a “park” created by two people. This park is a part of a “genre”, wild wild west themed. Ford and Arnold created the world and in that created the events to come. (I understand that is a gross over simplification of the season.)

In season two, Dolores takes “control” and leads the hosts while Bernard struggles with the realization that he “created” the park. The man in black fights to get a better understanding of his “daughter” or motives, and Maeve strives to find a way back to her “daughter”.

I’ve “quoted” several words, in the simplest version of my bouncing thoughts, to circle back to a point.

The three seasons are all the same sequences of the same “time” period. The inevitable out come of choice and predetermined outcomes. Good versus evil.

All three stories are the same and if I had time I’d love to delve deeper into the game but I have 2 daughters under 6 and classes to teach.

You guys are impeccable at what you do. Keep up the podcast and opening of minds and thoughts.

The greatest thing I’ve taken from your pods is that even if we are watching the same “show”…our interpretations and meanings can be seen from soooo many different view points. And whether right or wrong is doesn’t matter as long as you choose to change your “genre”.

Stay safe and stay healthy,
Mark
