Maeve is Still in The Park
1. Love you guys.
2. Am I the only person who noticed that Maeve has powers again? They made a point in War World to let us know that Maeve didn’t have powers in – A SIMULATION. But she had tons of power in this week’s episode. She was blowing out all the electrical circuits as she was walking to the nightclub where she shot the guys nuts off. Then she had countless dudes turn their guns on themselves and their co-conspirators. Why would she have power in the real world. What mesh network is she tapping into? She would not have this power on humans – only on hosts. She is in a park; one that she does not know about and cannot recognize. Plus – everything in this episode was like a park scenario. Caleb’s role and backstory is like an adventure in Westworld. But instead of being on a mission to bring down an outlaw, he’s a revolutionary. Is it that different from robbing a safe from the Mariposa? After all, we’ve met Caleb’s “gang” already when they “robbed the safe” (ATM). I suspect we will see that gang again. We are in a park. 3. I also think the entire mirroring thing is interesting but didn’t we see that the Park world’s were mirror worlds of each other? I seem to remember the entire opening of Shogun world introducing us to Japanese versions of Hector, Maeve and Armistice to the tune of Paint It Black. 4. I’m down with Big D’s multiple timelines.
5. That is all.
