Maeve Theory

Hi,

This season we have all been disappointed with Maeve’s storyline. She hasn’t been herself. Maeve hasn’t been witty or brilliant. And she has been manipulated by Serac, which seems out of character.

I think what we are seeing being played out is what Rehobo predicts would happen. We are seeing a simulation of one of the possible outcomes. Using predictive analytics, Rehobo thinks she will behave and react in this manner. Rehobo has a hard time understanding the behaviors of the hosts, since it hasn’t had host behavior as a data point to learn from.

Maybe I am just being hopeful that this explains the large departure from her character. And maybe this explains why all of the guards are awful at shooting!
