My Theory on the Latest Events in Westworld

Hey guys!

Your show is deffo my favorite on the Westworld series!
Deep, personal and sometimes even humorous, so it just stands out way above the other podcasts! I will be very happy to share my theories, thoughts and possibly plot lines, for the last two episodes of this epic show! Now let’s get to the juice…

First point: Peter Abernathy!
Remember this scene?
Now add to this the following ingredient – Sizemore has a new job to come up with a plot that involves Mr. Abernathy and probably whisks him back straight into the final path of the NOW happening Westworld! Have you considered that Peter might be the ultimate Lee Sizemore revenge for Ford’s not liking his suggestions for a new narrative, wasting his time on the fake WYATT and basically keeping him out of the loop 😉 Combine that with Dolores’s “Dad” hunger for “SUCH REVENGES ON YOU” and you have the perfect ending…

Second point: The desire to commit suicide is the ultimate step in the path of self-discovery, hence the shot with Dolores holding a gun to her head! Think about it… Maeve now knows that she can be killed and then get to do her Felix and Sylvester mongering all she wants, but she knows not to kill herself, cause that will give up her tricks to the staff members behind the glass! So she doesn’t even contemplate a suicide…

But probably to get to the end of the MAZE you have to kill yourself, hence realize that that is how you take control of your OWN life! And that is probably what Arnold wanted to teach his favorite hosts, that was the path that he wanted them to follow! And not to necessarily go through with a suicide, but to get to a contemplative and reflective level of thought, that you know that your life is in your hands!

Third point: Token Hemsworth aka STUBBS might be the last human that survives in the end of season one! This scene; seems so out of the narrative of the episode it was put in, that it makes me wonder if this is not the final talk between a human survivor and Dolores coming off a fresh suicide! And of course, Stubbs would be the best man to rule Westworld if everybody else from the brass is dead or MISSING IN ACTION, like Chuck Norris hahaha!

Fourth point: Where is Doctor Ford’s family at now?
Did he stash them somewhere, although that would be very strange, considering that he tries to keep them totally in a perfect family loop! Where were they when Theresa and Bernard were coming to the secret reverie – replicant testing house for their final showdown? Could little Ford be Big Ford’s killer and demise in the final moments of episode 10?

Fifth point: To some Maeve’s final steps in episode 8 might seem totally weak and illogical, but I think she has a perfect plan and method to her madness… I think she truly wants access to the forgotten and offline hosts hall!

So instead of making all the active hosts in the narrative follow his lead (which is impossible by the way, if you ask me, because they might listen to her at first, but she doesn’t have overall control yet! The staff of Westworld still have a Trump card with their control from the base and they can freeze everybody and have Maeve look stupid and just shoot her with a futuristic weapon from afar, with the precision of Nato hahaha ) she chose to be caught and probably be considered as a rebel or a host that just doesn’t function properly!

Hence she is ready to be retired and sent to the hall of the has been hosts, where she can awake herself and awake all the other Hasbeens and start the rebellion! (Imagine the old screechy Gunslinger unzipping himself and the pleasure he will have in killing some of his makers 😉 )

Random thoughts: Elsie is deffo not a robot! Remember the scene where she kisses Clementine, thinking nobody will see her… Well, that, my friends, is a dead giveaway that she is human, cause robots, hosts, replicants or AIs can not be gay unless they are programmed to be that way! So with that little lesbian or Bi tendency, she reveals herself to be human, in my humble opinion!

And have you considered that Ford might be orchestrating his death, realizing that the END is near, so the host that is being 3D printed is non-other that himself? He might be a host too, but I think he has a plan for himself and his fake family to make an Exit out of WESTWORLD in the style of EX-MACHINA
